What makes a story unique is it's individuality and authenticity. And 'Qissa' is a mirror of this idea.
With the world moving towards sustainability and minimalism, Qissa too aims in that direction but only with a touch of human heart and a raw personality.

What we do
They say if you want to know someone, travel together. Well said! Because travelling is what brought us – SU.I together.
We are fortunate that both of us are like-minded when it comes to travelling. The history, culture, and the ‘Qissa’ of a city is what resonates with us. And our experiences only add to the stories of it!
Thus comes the idea of manifesting our travel experiences into something tangible and share it with all of you to give a glimpse of our vulnerable moments.
Our team
It started in the most conventional way. Being from NIFT, we went to have coffee one evening to discuss a project after class and like most students, we discussed everything but that.
Call it coincidence or fate, both of us revealed that we wanted to build a brand, something that reflected our personalities through our stories. The commonality of our ideas sparked and just like that we came up with Qissa. For those who are unfamiliar with the meaning, 'Qissa' means story, and stories are what connect us humans inherently.
Although we were roommates in college but sharing a brand is different than sharing a room.
The trust, faith and an empowering connection that this new venture demanded didn't happen overnight. It needed effort and unquestioned conviction. It has been a process and it still is.
If Sumbul comes up with an overwhelming set of ideas in the middle of the night, Ishita goes through all her ideas (tones it down a tad) and then both of them together bring the idea to reality.
If Ishita gets too invested in perfecting every fold of the packaging and straightening every label, then Sumbul would remind her of the simplicity in imperfection.
Such is the companionship of SU.I!
On that note, we at Qissa aim to amuse people through our stories and travelling experiences. We look forward to engage with more and more people, listen to their stories and share a bond that is both unique and diverse.
